Hello! I’m Michelai.

I’m a journalist, on-camera host, and content creator based in New York City.

I love to write about tech, TV, film, pop culture, the creator economy, Formula 1, fitness, and wellness. My reporting has appeared in Motorsport.com, Boardroom, AfroTech, Lifewire, The Plug, HubSpot, Technical.ly DC, and more. I'm currently a regular contributor to EBONY Magazine and Esses.

From interviewing big names like Dwyane Wade, Jurnee Smollett, Jay Ellis, and Chef Tini to covering the Miami and Monaco Grands Prix and the World Series, I go where the story is.

Outside of that, you can find me binging the latest TV shows and movies, or going completely non-verbal for hours as I fall deep into a fiction novel probably centered on magic or the apocalypse.
