Because it's Prime Time!
IT'S HUMP DAY!
I also have my first interview today (fingers crossed)! I'm finally feeling more cozy in DC. I'm not sure why. It might be my adjustment with hosting at Madhatter or just really focusing on myself. Either way, I like it.
On the bright side, theres only a double shift and an interview standing in between me and my mini getaway this weekend which has been much anticipated.
IN OTHER NEWS...IT'S OFFICIALLY FALL TIME!
That means sweater weather, apple cider, dark lipstick, vanilla- pumpkin spice scented candles, long socks, Original Disney movies HALLOWEEN and of course all of my favorite shows! Here's a short review of what I thought of the premiere week of my faves:
Scream Queens: I'm a little iffy about the time jump but hello Taylor Lautner and John Stamos! Welcome to the cast! It's like the news school hottie has met the old school hunk. I'm here for it. I loved Zayday's performance as usual and excited to see the Chanels return but...where's Grace? I hope she makes a return soon. Since there is such a time gap between the college setting in the first season, I predict that there's a lot of excitement in store for us this season. I also hope there's a deep connection with the hospital killer. We will see.
Grey's Anatomy: I started this season realizing that, I no longer have a favorite character. Christina and Meredith were always a 2 for 1 packaged deal for me. Alex was growing on me but..well, he didn't have to piece DeLuca up like that! I may be leaning towards Avery...let's see his parenting skills first though. April had her baby! Momma Avery is annoying as ever and why does Meredith always feel like she has to protect everyone around her except her damn self? The act is getting old but I can tell that her and Riggs have unfinished business despite Maggie's little crush on him.
How to Get Away With Murder: Okay if this episode didn't confuse me more than ALL of the previous seasons combined then I don't know what the hell. As usual, Annalise is under fire. I found it interesting how the episode was edited. It went through a small recap of Annalise visiting...or in Michaela's case saving...all of the five students over the summer time. This Asher and Michaela romance is DISGUSTING. I hope they give Asher some sex appeal like he had in Orange is the New Black or I quit. And Wes has a new naturalista girlfriend; idk if I support this change yet. Laurel still can't find Frank. Hell, Frank can't find Frank. Boy so lost in sauce! I do feel like Shonda is going to give us a taste of Grey's Anatomy and kill off a main character in the finale of this season. Mark. My. Words.
Quantico: I haven't watched it quiet yet...oops!
Once Upon a Time: Still finishing season 5....bare with me.
Well, I'm off to prepare for my interview and head to work. Happy Hump Day!
xoxo, Mich.
P.S. the xoxo signage is in appreciation of my all time favorite show; long live Gossip Girl.
